Emergent Works is the essential first step for justice-impacted individuals reentering society and entering the digital world. Our tailored technical training programs close the digital divide, equipping individuals with the tools to succeed in today's job market, grow professionally, and set meaningful goals. With a focus on breaking the cycle of recidivism, Emergent Works empowers participants to reclaim their future and thrive in the digital economy.

Training and Education: Emergent Works offers technical and arts programming, which creates pathways for economic independence, professional growth, and community impact, ensuring participants gain the skills, support, and opportunities needed to thrive.

Free Resources: We provide access to resources and partners to help our participants remain self-sufficient and thrive during and after the program.

Safe Community: Emergent Works prioritizes creating a supportive, trauma-informed environment where participants and mentors can connect, share experiences, and grow without fear of stigma or discrimination.

Employment Opportunities: Our goal is to enhance participants' job prospects by connecting them with our partner organizations and creating pathways to meaningful employment. We also offer potential contracting opportunities for EW alums, providing a stepping stone toward excellent financial stability and long-term career growth.

Ending Mass Incarceration: We are dedicated to breaking systemic barriers for justice-impacted communities and addressing the cycle of mass incarceration, where individuals are repeatedly jailed, often due to a lack of support and resources. We believe that improving access to education, resources, and employment can help break this cycle.

Closing Wealth Gap and Digital Divide: By providing education and resources, Emergent Works aims to reduce economic inequalities (wealth gap) and ensure that everyone has access to technology and digital knowledge, which are crucial in today's job market.
